Salcombe Net boat for sale lying Salcombe with Devon Boat Sales, she was built in 2003 by Mike Atfield a famous Salcombe traditional boat builder, building the highest quality range of boats, from Launches to Yawls. This is a replica of the local vessel "Spitfire" a 1937 Salcombe Net boat. They were used in Salcombe Estuary as fishing boats as a solid and stable working platform, great for netting or bringing the crab ashore. They give the charm of a proper motor launch but with the benefit of a quiet modern four stroke outboard. She has been owned by the current owner for the last seven years and has been main dealer serviced every year.
