Heavy duty Monachorum hull layup hence excellent original condition. The Teignmouth Pilot is a classic designed and built on the River Teign for safe coastal use by local fisherman in the 1939’s, The design was developed as a GRP launch in the 1960’s and 1970’s and marketed as the Plymouth Pilot. The design is now manufactured by Plymouth Pilots as a classic gentleman’s launch and is respected World Wide as a modern classic
Kelpie has been on the Teign since new. She was the last Pilot finished on a Monachrum moulding in the 70’s. In 2018 she was refitted.
New: Beta 20, shaft, coupling, stern gear, prop exhaust system, hull fittings, silencer/water trap, automatic bilge pump, wiring loom, battery, console.
New Oak and Stainless Steel engine bearers, engine box and insulation. New lifting floor-boards, perimeter boards epoxy glassed into hull marine ply and oak floors,
