Both proprietors were in the road haulage business.  As one of the vessels would be completed first and had to be displayed at the 1961 boat show. Both vessels remained and cruised from Ramsgate for many years. ALMARIE sailed from Ramsgate to Estepona, Spain probably in the late 1980s.They had a lively season in Porto Banus and following a refit at Gun Wharf Gibraltar, set off as planned to Pollensa, Mallorca. An uneventful  trip from Gibraltar up the coast then across through the Balearic Islands to Pollensa 69.75 Hours at 7.5 Knots voyage, Pollensa became the home seaport where she cruised  around the Islands. In the current ownership ALMARIE is stationed at Torrevieja on the Costa Del Sol.
