The owners have owned Autumn Mist for eight years. Two years on the Norfolk Broads and then living half a year at a time in Portishead, however over the last three years almost all the time.
She is a very comfortable live aboard boat or equally a great family boat. They have updated much of the interior and double insulated where possible. As can be seen on the equipment list many home comforts. The addition of a 5ft wide bed makes her very cosy. Good 240v circuit system with USB chargers etc. As stated there is a current boat safety certificate. This is required for inland trips and covers the gas, diesel, and electrical systems plus all necessary alarms and fire extinguishers.
Autumn Mist has been and can be used at sea but is best suited for rivers and widebeam canals. With an air draft of only 7ft 3ins she is able to go where many motor boats can't because they have too much air draft.
From Portishead the cruises they have taken are Penarth, Wales and Weston-super-Mare, up to Sharpness for the Sharpness Gloucester canal and on up the river Seven to Stourport. Also via the River Seven using the upper Avon from Tewkesbury to Stratford on Avon.
The other very enjoyable route is from Portishead to Bristol and joining the Kennett and Avon canal. This takes you to Reading and onto the River Thames. One trip was to London and another Letchlade. Their plan had been to take her from the mouth of the Thames across to France and use on European canals.
