DESCRIPTION

Catherine is an 18 meter ex tar Barge originally owned by the Butler company who manufactured tar based in Cruise Hall Bristol.

Catherine is an 18 meter ex tar Barge originally owned by the Butler company who manufactured
tar based in Cruise Hall Bristol.The Barge was sold into private ownership when Butler closed in
the late 1950’s she is believed to be of an iron hull with concrete ballast the superstructure was
added once the tar had been removed. The Catherine has two decks and has been used as a
house boat and for entertainment. Although she has been languishing in the Bristol harbour
master’s compound for many years it easy to see the great potential this project offers to an
entrepreneur with vision.
It is important to understand that there are no moorings available in the Bristol harbour complex
the new owner will need to remove her within 30 days of Purchase.
