Histar 46ft Aft Cabin Motoryacht for sale.
Our family had this boat commissioned in 1987 and we have owned it from new, built first as a home, and for the last 20 years she has been a floating holiday destination.
The boat is coming back to the UK from Portugal in April and will be available to view in Southampton
There is a very large master cabin with a huge bed, lots of storage and an en-suite bathroom. There are two further double cabins, a V berth for two adults in the bow, and a small but cosy kids cabin, which share a second bathroom.
There is good sized galley, with a combi microwave / traditional over and a large 12v and 240v fridge. The saloon seats 6 in comfort, with drinks cupboard and TV. The flybridge seats 6 and there is a sun bathing upper deck with plenty of space.
The twin engines are CAT3208 395hp with under 700 hours from new. They are in excellent condition. Max speed is 18 knots, economic cruising at 10 knots.
The boat has a well used generator which is serviceable but has high hours. There are three reverse cycle air conditioning units for cooling or heating, fresh water 12v electric flushing toilets (new 2016) new batteries (2019), new battery charger (2016) full engine overhaul 2020, lots of other upgrades. The boat is now 33 years old so don’t expect it to be immaculate but its a very good solid boat.
This boat will make a wonderful live-aboard or holiday boat to cruise the South Coast.
We have recently had new covers made for the large rear deck, with space for 10 people to sit comfortably. Minor refit in 2019 including all new navigation equipment with radar, plotter, auto helm, remote steering and new batteries throughout.
