Accommodation :The layout offers up to six berths with two double sleeping cabins separate from the main accommodation. In the forecabin, V-berth with infill to form a double, beneath berth stowage and opening hatch to foredeck. In the saloon, bench settee to port & starboard, saloon table with drop leaves.
Galley to starboard has a Neptune 2000 two-burner gas cooker with oven and grill, double stainless-steel sink, top loading cool box and ample storage in various lockers and cupboards. Chart table aft to port with navigation equipment and electrical distribution panel, leading to separate heads compartment aft to port with marine toilet, washbasin and shower.
Aft cabin to starboard fitted with a double berth and hanging locker. Teak cabinetry with blue coloured upholstery. Hot and cold pressurised water supply throughout via a calorifier and immersion heater. Propex HS2000 cabin heater.

History & ConstructionHunter Horizon 30 moulded by Hunter Boats Ltd in 1993 and designed by David Thomas. White GRP hull, superstructure and decks. Tiller steering to balanced rudder. Self-draining cockpit and anchor well. Last antifouled and anodes replaced February 2022 and has been ashore since October 2022. Gas system last certified January 2021. This yacht has had 6 previous owners and under its current ownership for 2 years. The owner’s reason for selling this yacht is to purchase another larger yacht.
Mechanical :Sails & Spars
This Hunter Horizon 30 is a deck step fractional Bermudan sloop with an alloy Z Spars mast and boom. The spinnaker and whisker pole are also alloy. Stainless-steel standing rigging and running rigging were all replaced in 2016. Manual backstay adjuster.

Mechanical SystemsPowered by a Volvo Penta MD2020 diesel engine. 3-cylinder, 18HP, new in 1999. Shaft drive to a fixed 2-blade propellor. 45L fuel tank capacity and has a cruising speed of 6kn and a max speed of 7kn. The engine was last serviced in September 2022 and the cutlass bearing was last replaced in January 2016.
Electrical Systems2 x 12v batteries, 1 x domestic at 110Amp hour (new 2018) and 1 x engine start at 85Amp hour (new 2018), charging from the alternator and solar panel. This yacht has a 240v shore power connection, an immersion heater and a battery charger.
