This particular Uniflite 42 has been well maintained by the current owner for the past 6 years. She features two large staterooms, a spacious galley, and plenty natural light which makes her the perfect live-aboard or coastal cruiser. New hard floors were just installed throughout the interior. The current owner is looking to purchase a sailboat and is motivated to sell.

The Uniflite 42 Double Cabin was one of the earliest production motor yachts to be designed with a raised, full-width aft deck. While she’s been out of production since the mid-1980s, used models remain popular even today due to their sturdy construction, exceptionally comfortable ride, and wide-open interior layout. (Indeed, the 42’s hull and deck molds were later used in the production of the Chris Craft 427 Catalina after Uniflite closed down in 1984.)
The standard galley-down floorplan featured twin berths in the aft cabin, a deck access door at the optional lower helm, dinette, and teak woodwork throughout. Those models built after 1978 have a stall shower in the forward head and a rearranged galley/dinette area. Quality components and hardware make used Uniflite 42 DCs a good candidate for refits and interior upgrades.
In 1984, the 42 MK II SE version appeared with a revised interior, layout that was retained in Chris Craft’s 427 model. A pair of 310hp J&T 6-71 diesels cruise the Uniflite 42 Double Cabin at 18 knots with a top speed in the neighborhood of 20–21 knots. Note that the fuel capacity was increased in 1977 to 500 gallons.
