Description
'Vrijheid' is a replica dutch barge based on the Thomas design by Branson and built by Will Trickett Boats in 2011. The interior fit-out has been overseen by the owner in a traditional style and completed in 2016. She is now offered for sale as the owner plans to relocate.

Construction
12mm base plate, 6mm side plate and gunwales, 4mm cabin side plate and 5mm cabin roof plate.
Removable timber wheelhouse, cream painted topsides with black trim, grey decks and black, epoxy painted hull. Mooring bollards mounted at the stern, midhsips and foredeck, painted handrails along cabin roof, steel foredeck lockers, mast bracket and chain locker.
Internal spray foam insulation, painted ply and pine t&g linings, solid oak flooring, brass port hole windows, large deck hatch with fitted Houdini escape hatch in forward cabin and Houdini hatch in aft cabin.
Accommodation
A large, removable, timber framed wheelhouse with stable doors on both sides and windows all around, lined in pine t&g with solid wood floor panels with access to the engine room, a central helm position and radiator. A lifting hatch and solid wood door with a port hole window lead to the aft master cabin, which is lined in off white painted t&g panelling with a raised double bed with lots of storage beneath, a Houdini escape hatch, brass port hole windows, radiator and 12v LED lighting.
Steps and a solid wood door lead from the wheel house to the living accommodation, comprising-:
A built in utility area to port with a washer/dryer, storage drawers and cupboards;
A separate bathroom to starboard with 3/4 bath and shower attachment, wash basin with mixer tap, electric flush toilet, stainless steel towel radiator, storage unit and ceramic tiled floor;
An L shaped galley with fitted base units, hardwood work top, green tiled upstand, white ceramic sink and drainer with mixer tap, four ring gas hob, and under-counter fridge/freezer;
An open plan saloon with free-standing furniture, a Morso multifuel stove, wall mounted TV, radiator, large deck hatch with Houdini escape hatch.
The interior is fitted with brass port hole windows, 12v LED down lighting, 240v sockets and removable floor panels giving access to the bilges.
Engine
John Deere 4 cylinder 4.5L 90hp diesel engine (marinised by Barrus), coupled to a PRM 260 gearbox with a conventional shaft drive. Single lever control mounted at the helm.

Manual anchor windlass, 20kg Danforth anchor, 50m x 8mm chain, 2 x 13kg propane LPG bottles, Firebird diesel boiler, 72 litre hot water calorifier tank with immersion, Morco multifuel stove, Hotpoint washer/dryer, Logik fridge/freezer, dome vents, central heating thermostat, Shurflo domestic water pump, shower waste pump, automatic bilge pump, electric macerator toilet.
Electrics
12v batteries (1x engine starting, 4 x domestic), 3kw Victron inverter/charger, Jemlec galvanic transformer,12v lighting, 240v shore power connection and plug sockets.
