A lifelong competitive sailor who attended his first boat show in 1978, Ian went on to run Europe’s largest yacht brokerage. He joined the emerging online world in San Francisco in 2000 as part of the start-up team at Yachtworld bringing the marine industry to the internet and then served as president of the subsequent business known as Boats Group for 12 years. Today he is happy to be driving the re-generation of Rightboat, providing low-cost online solutions to boat buyers and sellers.
Director of Product Development
A product and digital expert with vast boating marketplace experience, Nico has a keen eye for user experience and digital enhancements. He is at the forefront of Rightboat's innovation and enjoys measuring the positive impact new features have on our site visitors.
Content Director
Since joining a sailing magazine as editorial assistant in 1979, John has specialized in boating media. Over more than three decades, he served as editor and content director for Sailing World, Cruising World, boats.com and Yachtworld. A champion sailboat racer, John lives in Newport, R.I., where he also works as a certified executive coach both inside and outside the marine industry. He enjoys working with Rightboat and the international cast ol talent across multiple specialties.
Sales Director
With senior roles in yacht sales, charter, management, tuition, and boat building, Alastair has devoted his career to the marine industry. Along with all of our leadership team, he has continuously been at the forefront of tech utilization in the boat-selling process, and came aboard Rightboat to join us on the journey of becoming the alternative solution to selling boats online.
Vice President of Sales
Bringing 16 years of senior director level experience, Julian has a background in new and brokerage retail boat sales and digital marketing. His journey includes notable roles at Barclays, Bank of Scotland Marine Finance and Trade Media Group UK, to name just a few. Since relocating to the United States from the UK, Julian has thrived in the US marine industry and recently joined Rightboat, with a strong focus on supporting dealers and brokers at an affordable cost.
Sales Director, USA
Jessica has been making waves as a sales and marketing consultant in the marine industry since 2016. She's dedicated to helping dealers and brokers increase boat sales by first understanding their business goals and then utilizing product expertise, solution selling, and ongoing data-driven analysis. Jessica is an active member of the IYBA and Professional Women in Yachting.

With a strong track record in account management and over 10 years’ experience in the online advertising and marine sales space, Nora is dedicated to serving her customers, listening to their needs, and using all her resources and creativity to ensure satisfaction. Nora and her family own a cruising yacht in the Solent (UK)
Head of Traffic Acquisition
With a background in economics, Adrià has worked in the digital sector for over a decade, specializing in search engines and online advertising. He appreciates the ‘startup mindset’ of the Rightboat team, where he regularly plans new ideas and tests them. Living in Barcelona, Adrià enjoys running and playing footvolley on the beach.
