Designed by Gunnar Klingenberg and built by Henrik Askviks Sonner of Hagavik, Norway. First registered in Dartmouth to John Bowdage of Hampshire a member of the Island Sailing Club and kept on a mooring at Hamble. In the early 1970s Anthony Randall became the second owner keeping NOY at Emsworth. In the late 1970s L A Cundall of Wooton, also a member of the ISC bought NOY and moored her at Cowes. Registered as sail number 11. The current owner bought NOY in 1994 and has enjoyed coastal and inland cruising from a Norfolk base.
