You will have a tough time finding a nicer pre-2000 trawler than this 1988 Albin 36 Trawler. Every mechanical and operational system has been gone through and this one is ready to take on the Great Loop or just make a quick run over to the Bahamas. She's powered by a 135 HP Ford Lehman diesel engine pushing a Borg Warner Velvet Drive transmission. She carries two (2) aluminum fuel tanks giving you a total of 350 gallons of fuel providing a tremendous range. The Vetus Bow-Prop bow thruster makes maneuvering this single screw a breeze. The 5KW Westerbeke generator has been recently overhauled. Outside there is a good size rear deck with a transom door to the swim platform, Forward and up off the rear deck is a comfortable "patio" and the ladder that leads to a huge flybridge. The flybridge has a canvas enclosure with isinglass that is all in very good condition. Anchored on the flybridge deck is the folding mast that carries the radar dome. Moving forward, the side walkways are fairly wide and easy to traverse. The bow hosts the Seawolf electric windlass, a stainless anchor track, a large plow anchor, and a spare fluke anchor. There is also a raw water hose bib for spraying down the ground tackle. There are two sliding entry hatches to the salon. One is midships on the port side and the other is at the lower helm on the starboard side. The salon is very spacious and includes a large U-shaped settee/dinette combo, the galley, and the inside/lower helm. The galley includes an isotherm refrigerator Aft is the main cabin with a queen size bed, tons of storage, and a large head with a tub and shower. Forward of the salon is a large 2nd cabin with plenty of storage and its own wet head. All-in-all, this 1988 Albin 36 Trawler is "trip ready" today. Do not miss this opportunity!
