Pers was also one of the first designers to embrace GRP as a new building material, and along with renowned Swedish builder Albin Marine, they produced around 3500 of them.

Excellent sailing capabilities, shallow draft and a ballast ratio approaching 40%, these are safe stable craft with a good turn of speed. They are popular the world over and have been involved in numerous circumnavigations and adventures in extreme conditions. In 2012, a 36 year old Vega completed a 27,077 mile solo circumnavigation of North and South America, which is testament in itself to the durability and performance of these super craft.

Accommodation :
Accommodation

Settee/berths port and starboard with shelved storage above and behind. Forward cabin with privacy door.  V-Berth with infill. Heads compartment with sea toilet. All waste sanitation hoses have been replaced and heads serviced in September 2020.

12V lighting throughout. 3-Pin sockets on a ring main with shore power cable. Boat benefits from Planar diesel fired heating with programmable remote control. The heater is very efficient and has its own 10 litre tank.
