Designed by the American John Alden under the code name RENA CLASS 0744N and constructed in Cape Town in 1984. The hull and deck are made from Iroko wood, while the interior features Teak.
HistoryPlans were acquired from Alden Co through Peabody Museum in Massachusetts, U.S by British captain N. Halliwell. He believed the yacht was ideal for transatlantic passages. Over a span of 5 years, he completed 60,000 nm from South Africa to USA, UK, and back to Africa.
