The condition or level of safety equipment on board is not to be negotiated on following survey. It is likely to be listed by most surveyors but is not structural or an integral working part of the vessel and is not to be used to further negotiate the price down after survey. We strongly suggest that for your own personal safety that when purchasing a yacht you provide new safety equipment rather than relying on second hand gear.
Should you become the new owner of this yacht then the responsibility to re-register or update official bodies for items such as EPIRB, VHF, MMSI or AIS becomes yours.
Yacht was in full commission and use summer 2018 lifted ashore end August 2018

2017 : from Povoa to Cagliari, Sardinia
2018 : from Cagliari to Preveza, Greece
Current owners have had the boat since November 2015. First year she was in the Atlantic (from La Rochelle, France to Povoa, Portugal), the 2nd she went through Gibraltar and sailed in the Mediterranean and wintered in Cagliari (Sardinia), the 3rd year (2018), she went from Cagliari to Preveza. She sailed 4-6 months each year and spent the winter out of the water.
Family decided to sell the boat after their father passed away last spring. The boat remained ashore since October 2018.

The yacht is regarded as tax paid. Usually when the flag is closed the French authorities will confirm on the closure certificate 'TVA Acquitte' VAT free/paid.
