DESCRIPTION

ELYSIAN 34 'MEANDER' FOR SALE.

Description
'Meander' is a very nicely presented, modernised and well equipped river cruiser that would probably have begun its life as a holiday hire boat on the Fenland waterways. Under the current ownership, she has undergone an extensive programme of improvements and included in the sale is a comprehensive inventory of equipment to enable a new owner to step aboard and go boating. Viewings are by prior arrangement, so please contact us to make an appointment.

Construction
GRP moulded hull, decks, superstructure and sliding saloon roof, which have been painted in an off white colour with grey, non-slip deck panels. The hull was cleaned, antifouled and superstructure paintwork was inspected and touched up as necessary by a professional boat painter in April 2020 at a local boatyard. Stainless steel pulpit and grab rails, alloy deck fittings, alloy framed single glazed windows and screens.

Accommodation
The accommodation is accessed from the stern via steps and a central doorway that leads to the aft cabin comprising two single berths located one on each side with storage beneath and shelving above, a full height locker, radiator and doorway to the walk-through galley; fitted base units and laminate work top to port with sink and drainer, mixer tap, under counter Electrolux 3-way fridge and oven and storage cupboards, quadrant shaped base unit to starboard with laminate work top, mounted LPG hob and cleverly designed access to the engine and gearbox beneath, storage rack above, additional work top section that folds down across the doorway to starboard side WC and shower;  white ceramic pedestal mounted wash basin with hot and cold taps, manual sea toilet, shower with mixer tap, radiator. Steps lead up from the galley to the saloon with its distinctive sliding roof, L shaped seating that converts to a double berth with storage and engine access beneath, matching helm and co-pilot chairs, further storage unit to port including lockers for the heating boiler and heating system header tank, fitted table mounts in the floor, access hatches in the floor to batteries and engine cooling water strainer, gas locker and radiators, steps and doorway lead to the forward cabin; full height locker to starboard, large storage and vanity unit to starboard, separate WC compartment to port with vinyl tiled storage unit with wash basin and manual sea toilet, hanging locker with radiator to port, twin vee berths forward with infill to make a double and storage beneath, deck hatch above.
The internal layout is original with soft, beige headlining throughout, complimentary blinds, curtains, carpets and floor coverings, contrasting, bright upholstery and LED lighting.

Engines
BMC 1.5 4 cylinder diesel engine coupled to a shaft drive with a single lever control. We are advised this was last serviced by a local boatyard in November 2019, which included a refurbishment of the high pressure fuel pump and fitting a new fuel injector pipe. The cutlass bearing on the prop shaft was replaced this summer and a new stern gland greaser was also fitted.
In addition, Side-Power Bow and Stern Thrusters are fitted for ease of manoeuvring.
