The Aquabell 33 is a semi-displacement, sturdy fishing boat. This one comes complete with the rare flybridge option. The large aft deck provides a great offshore fishing platform and the good size comfortable accommodation makes her an ideal cruising boat.
A full refit was carried out on the electrical system during April/May 2022 when new wiring looms, switch panel and engine instrumentation at both helms was all replaced.

Vessel powered by twin Turbocharged Ford Mermaid Marine, 6 cylinder inboard engines. These 225hp workhorses will cruise happily all day at 12 knots but have a top speed of 20 knots when required. Both engines are housed midships for stability. Removable, raised engine covers, aft of the forward wheelhouse/accommodation, allowing full all round access for servicing and daily checks. Both alternators were replaced with new ones and both starter motors have been replaced with service exchange models in April 2022. As part of a complete overhaul of the electrical system, all engine instrumentation at both helms has been replaced with new gauges.
Borg Warner Velvet Drive 1:1 gearboxes driving stainless steel 1 and a 1/4 inch shafts fitted with with twin 4 bladed, 16 inch bronze propellers. Hydraulic wheel steering with twin steel blade rudders. Helm station selector at lower helm.

The accommodation offers 2 berths with good headroom in the wheelhouse and could comfortably be used by two for cruising. Fore cabin with two single V-berths (an infill to create a double berth could easily be created), seat and stowage. Separate heads compartment to port with marine toilet. Wheelhouse saloon consisting of a helm position with double fixed seat to port. Compact galley aft to port equipped with a 2-burner gas hob with oven and grill. Sink with pressurised cold water supply. Instant hot water from gas fuelled water heater. Plentiful stowage. Brand new fridge. Upholstered in easy clean mid-blue fabric throughout.
During her current ownership the interior has had upgraded roof and hull linings installed to add light and add quality to the onboard comfort.
Externally there is a small flybridge accessed via a stainless steel ladder. Large aft cockpit with teak sole and excellent stowage in various lockers and lazarettes. Access on to the side decks is very good with a good number of stainless steel grab rails.
Caladh is a semi displacement type motor vessel with a professionally constructed heavy layup GRP hull.
The vessels hull below the water line is of Deep V construction. Underwater areas have been coated with red anti-fouling. The topsides are a smart dark blue and protected by heavy duty black rubber D-fendering and a teak rubrail from mid-ships aft.
The forward set wheelhouse is of white GRP gel coating with a white flybridge. Wheelhouse is fitted with reinforced toughened glass all round.
The vessel has been fitted with stainless steel stations and stainless steel guard wires.
Last lifted out of the water April 2021 where the vessel was antifouled & anodes renewed.
Wide mahogany topped gunwales with stainless steel guard rails port, starboard and at transom. Pot hauler fitted on starboard side midships. Large self draining deck making an ideal platform from which to fish or dive.
Wheelhouse with lockable rear door. Windows port, starboard and to front and rear allow all round visibility. Large foredeck with mounting for life raft - not included- and anchor roller.
Stainless steel arch mounted to wheelhouse roof with antenna for GPS and VHF. Radar on separate stainless steel mount.
