The 225 Explorer features a large cockpit set up for fishing with a live well, rod holders, under-gunnel rod storage, a floor fish box, tackle center, and downrigger. There is seating for four in the cockpit, but the aft two jump-seats can be removed and folded for easy storage. At the helm are two pedestal seats for the captain and passenger. The helm includes the tachometer, fuel gauge, voltmeter, and compass as well as the panel for accessory switches, circuit breakers, and 12 volt and USB connections. The cabin is nice sized and provides a place to escape the sun or to spend the night. There is a V-berth to sleep two, the VHF radio, a sink, sliding cabin windows, a stereo, lighting, and even more rod storage.
