Boat Overview

The Back Cove 34 (previously known as the Back Cove 33 until 2012) is an attractive Down East cruiser. Its single-diesel efficiency, versatile layout, and advanced construction make it one of the most appealing boats in its class. Like all Back Cove models, the 34 features a vacuum-bagged, PVC-cored hull with a reverse transom and a shallow prop pocket. The layout is both simple and elegant, with a large bench seat in the cockpit and a raised dinette on the semi-enclosed bridge deck, providing ample seating for family and friends. The in-line galley is located behind the helm, opposite the dinette, rather than in the cabin. The entire bridge deck can be lifted on hydraulic rams for easy engine access. Below deck, there is a spacious and comfortable V-berth forward, a convertible L-settee with an inlaid teak table to port, and a large head with a separate stall shower to starboard. Note that a queen berth forward is standard in the 34 model. The cabin features varnished cherry joinery, premium hardware, and an elegant teak and holly sole. Wide side decks are a plus, and a standard helm chair along with bow and stern thrusters are included. The 2013 Back Cove 34 No Pressure is conveniently located at the Orleans Marina, just a short drive from the New Orleans International Airport (MSY).
