Recently re-engined by local Yanmar specialists Dave Crawford Marine in 2019. "On The Edge" now features a new pair of Yanmar 6LPA - 315hp diesel engines and Mercruiser drives. Only around 165 hours recorded on the new engines and drives.
The boat achieves 50mph with ease, and the owner advises she's very economical - a much more sensible engine option for UK use than the petrol V8's often fitted in these in America.
"On The Edge" is currently wrapped in matt black vinyl with stripe detailing. Drives are removed for winter servicing and storage but it will be fully recommissioned for the new owner.
The large cockpit has synthetic teak decking, two supportive helm seats and wraparound lounge seating to the rear. There are steps over the console and through the windscreen onto the large foredeck for access to the anchor locker, mooring cleats and fenders.
The helm is well appointed with all the engine instrumentation, trim tab and drive trim indicators, separate throttle and gear shift levers, and a recent Raymarine GPS chartplotter.
In the fore cabin there is comfortable lounge-style seating for several adults, a galley to starboard with microwave, fridge and electric hob. In the bow is a double bed with separating curtain. The heads compartment is of a good size with a sea toilet, wash basin and shower, with both hot and cold water.
To port is a hanging locker and the circuit breakers and main switches for the electrical systems onboard.
"On-The-Edge" is a very special, high performance sports cruiser, which has been carefully upgraded and modernised over the years. Imported into the UK in 2016, she's fully CE marked and VAT paid, ready to be enjoyed by its new owners.
