History

OWNER REMARKS & HISTORY
Pixelion was built by the Baltic shipyard for an Italian entrepreneur (pharmaceutical industry).
He set the interior design for his own use and plans - to use her mainly for Corporate events (hence the reason for the 2 master cabins).
The yacht was originally named “Lady G” and was operated across Italy under the Italian Flag.
"Lady G” was the last of the 64 series (number 5). She has been designed to be extremely stable with a deeper keel than usually (with a draft of 3.3m instead of 2.9m like the 4 other sister-ships) –
A few years later the first owner sold “Lady G”, to order a larger new yacht from Baltic. The new owner was an Italian - American involved in real-estate. He transferred the vessel to the United States of America. He also changed the yacht’s name to VAHANLEX.
The current owners purchased the boat in June 2009.  They imported her from USA to Europe and renamed her Pixelion - (why Pixelion? Because they are working in the scanning market and you get pixels when you scan a document  - and also they are based in Lyon as well….) not to mention that they liked this name better than VAHANLEX ….
The American flag was cancelled in 2009 and the yacht is registered in Toulon, France.
During her life Pixelion has crossed the Atlantic 6 times. She is a strong and able ocean going sailing yacht.  The last time though was in 2008.
After they purchased VAHNALEX the current owners modified the length of the keel to take her back to the original design size at 2.9 meters (faster and easier for most harbours) .
This has been done by Baltic in Viareggio at the Vismara ship yard.
The yacht has always has been handled by a professional crew from the beginning through each ownership. Although by the owners admission when he purchased her, in June 2009, she had received a low maintenance  during the former 18 months.
However under the current ownership the yacht has had a complete refit in 2010 / 2011 and a high level of maintenance since then.
