Barbican 30, 1995, high quality long keel cruising yacht, fully equipped for offshore sailing, Beta 20hp diesel fitted 2009, good sails, new standing rigging, ready to sail!

MECHANICAL

Beta Marine B-20HE 20hp diesel engine (2009) Beta Marine gearbox/Vetus throttle control and cables (2017). Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Electric start. Shaft drive to fixed three blade propeller (Cutlass bearing and propeller replaced 2014). Flex mounts.

DOMESTIC

The accommodation offers up to four berths in cabin and saloon with 6' headroom.
Steps leading down from cockpit with galley to port, Nelson Tecma two burner gas hob with oven and grill, double stainless steel sink with H&C water supply and additional hand pumped tap, refrigerated cool box, lots of storage space and Lewmar opening portlight above. Chart table to starboard. Settee berths with lee cloths to both sides with storage above and below. Drop leaf table to centre. Companionway forward with hanging locker to port. Heads compartment to starboard side with Jabsco manual sea toilet, vanity unit with stainless steel sink with H&C mixer tap/shower attachment, storage cabinet and portlight above. Fore cabin with V Berths and infill, storage above and below and access to chain locker fwd. 2 x Lewmar portlights and escape hatch to foredeck. Teak and teak faced ply furniture and bulkheads with teak and holly floor.

OWNERS COMMENTS

The Barbican 30 is a strong and capable, sea kindly cruiser with traditional lines. This particular example is presented in very good order, she has been lovingly maintained, upgraded frequently at considerable expense and regularly wintered ashore.
