Coolchange has been extensively sailed as far afield as the USA and Canada and is set up and ready to go on to more exciting adventures. Laid up ashore for the last three years, all systems winterised and the deck covered with a canvas tent. All systems checked as far as possible in May/June 2022 with the hull and topsides also receiving a polish and new interior upholstery fitted. Ready for viewing by appointment at Birdham Pool Marina.
Hull And Deck
- GRP construction - 3 GRP mouldings; hull, inner moulding and deck moulding. Hull and inner moulding from solid GRP and deck is sandwich construction with GRP top and bottom layers.
- Hull is a heavily laid up solid GRP structure with glassed in frames to support the chain plates
- Inner moulding is heavily laid up GRP structure in a complex shape that supports the keel, rudder, engine and internal bulkheads and equipment and strengthens the hull.
