The boat is powered by a Volvo Penta D1-30 3-cylinder 29hp inboard engine with engine hours of 1162, which has been serviced annually by the current and former owner, most recently in January 2025. Taipan has comfortable sleeping accommodation for 8 people in the forward master cabin, saloon and two aft cabins.

Volvo Penta D1-30 3-cylinder 29hp inboard diesel engine
The engine has been serviced annually, most recently in Jan 2025
Approximately 1162 engine hours
Fuel system is fitted with a fuel polishing system. This system minimises the chance of getting a diesel bug in the tank by recirculating the fuel with a pump through an additional fuel filter. It is currently run daily on a timer.
