Today Bayliner still keeps things simple for its buyers, with a range of models available to suit all needs and tastes. Customization now plays a big part in the buying process, with many options to choose from, including hull colors, upholstery colors, fishing and watersports packages, biminis, electronics and more. Bayliner has used Mercury engines since 1999, but there are several options to choose from for each model. 

Bayliner has pioneered in its history, making many industry firsts. It has also gathered an impressive number of awards, including the Marine Industry Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) Award from the National Marine Manufacturers Association, which it has won numerous times. 

Model ranges/Models of Bayliner Boats

Throughout its long history, Bayliner has made many models that are widely represented on the used boat market. Whether it’s a classic from the 1980s to earlier examples of existing models, there are dozens to choose from.

Looking at the current Bayliner lineup, the choice is impressively large. The brand offers something to suit all needs and includes deck boats, center consoles, bowrider, and overnight cruisers. 

The deck boat range includes three series: the M Series, the D Series, and the E Series. The highly practical M Series of cruising deck boats range from 15 to 19 feet and have M hull designs, which create a stable ride. The more luxurious D Series puts a focus on tow sports, with a sturdy tow tower, good agility, and speed. The E Series goes back to Bayliner’s roots with an affordable, no-frills range of fun cruising deck boats.

The Trophy Series of center console boats consists of four current models ranging from 18 feet to 24 feet. These are high performance fishing boats with a deep V-hull design to also enable them to function as versatile family boats. They include fishing accessories, T-tops, spacious casting decks, and comfortable seating.

There are six models in Bayliner’s VR Series of bowrider boats, which includes the inboard and outboard versions of the VR4 (18'9"), VR5 (20'7") and VR6 (22'7"). These models are based on the long success of Bayliner’s V-bottom bowrider, which includes its BeamForward design approach, bringing the 8-foot beam farther forward and creating more seating and deck space. 

Lastly in the current lineup is Bayliner’s two series of overnight cruisers, the PH Series and EX Series. The PH Series of pilothouse boats—which includes the T23 and T25—offers anglers a small yet practical cabin for overnight fishing expeditions, along with the brand’s well-appointed fishing accessories, all in a highly capable package. The EX Series takes things one step further with a more luxurious and compact expedition boat to suit the whole family. The T23, T25, and T29 are Bayliner’s most spacious models to date, with dining and sleeping areas, on-deck seating, and a swim platform. 

Previous models, which are widely available on the used market, include several larger cuddy cabin style models such as the Ciera Series, the VR Cuddy Series, and the (up to 30 foot) Discovery Series.
