Construction

The hull is a fiberglass shallow-deadrise modified-V with moderate beam and prop pockets. It is constructed of alternating layers of single skin fiberglass. The topsides are flat aft and flare forward, with a raked bow and a rounded cambered transom, along with a swim platform.

The underwater hull has vee sections forward that flatten aft, and a shallow three-quarter keel. There are exposed stainless steel propeller shafts turning exposed bronze counter-rotating, four-bladed propellers.

The deck layout consists of a self-bailing cockpit, with a walkthrough transom, flush side and foredecks, a raised blister trunk cabin, and a flying bridge with a helm station offset to port. The cockpit, decks, cabin, and flying bridge structures are constructed with alternating layers of molded fiberglass, with suspected end grain Balsa cores in places for reinforcements.

Vessel Walkthrough

The vessel sleeps 6 in 2 staterooms and a convertible dinette. The forward stateroom has an island double bed with drawers underneath. There are hanging lockers on port & starboard. The overhead hatch and two ports provide ample light and air. Aft on the starboard side is the enclosed head with a port. Note that the tub offers sitting headroom only as it is located under the lower helm station. Aft through the door to the port side guest head with port. There is also a door into the guest stateroom with a double berth, hanging locker, storage area, and a heater. From the companionway, up four steps to the galley area. On the starboard side forward is the lower helm station with a folding bench seat and full controls.

Aft is the U-shaped galley. Across to port is an L-shaped lounge seat with storage underneath. Down one step to the salon area with an L-shaped convertible dinette and upgraded oversized riser table, usually found only on larger models. The table has a fitted cushion to sleep two people. On the starboard side, under the galley counter, is good storage and a U-Line icemaker. Aft is a swivel chair and ample storage areas along the port side. The master electrical panel is on the aft bulkhead. The salon is light and airy with large opening windows for ventilation. A heater is mounted in the bulkhead. Hatches in the deck offer easy overhead access to the engine room. There is a sliding door to the cockpit. The cockpit has deck hatches for access to the generator and lazarette. A hatch/door on the port side opens to the engine room.

There are three folding chairs. H&C shower is mounted in the transom next to the transom door leading to the stylish integral swim platform. There is a fold-up swim ladder. Port and starboard side steps lead to the wide side decks. On the port side is a ladder to the flybridge with a port side helm station and seat. Full instrumentation at the helm. The lounge seat on the flybridge will seat six.
