The Bayliner 4587 Cockpit Motor Yacht is a comfortable, spacious, and effective motor yacht. It is well fitted for living aboard or long-range cruising, and the cockpit layout provides room for fishing as well.

Helm and Navigation

The upper helm is well laid out, offering an easy place to pilot, with room for passengers to accompany the captain. Windows provide excellent outside visibility from the lower helm. Both helms are equipped with Nav electronics for continuity.

Interior Layout

The two-stateroom floorplan includes:

• Full galley and dinette down
• Large wraparound salon
• Both staterooms have double berths
• Aft head compartment with a separate stall shower
• Televisions in both staterooms

The full galley is configured with:

• Transom door
• Lazarette

Power and Performance

A/C power away from the docks is provided by a 7 KW Westerbeke generator and a 3 KW inverter. The yacht is powered by twin Hino 250 diesel engines, which the seller reports achieve about 1 - 1.5 mpg at a cruising speed of 10 knots and a top speed of 21 knots when needed. The seller states that this Bayliner performs exceptionally well in 8-10 foot seas around Alaska and runs well in winter conditions.

At the waterline, her length is 45'-1". With the swim step bow sprit, the overall length is 54'.
