Accommodation
The Beneteau Antares 30S layout offers up to 6 berths in two cabins plus the saloon and has approx. 6'3" maximum headroom.
OWNER'S FORECABIN - Fitted with a central island double bed (new mattress 2019) for easy access from either side, a dressing table and seat, reading lights, and good storage provided by a hanging locker, illuminated beneath berth stowage, and shelves. Opening hatch to foredeck.
SIDE CABIN - The guest side cabin has offset single bunkbeds (new mattresses 2019), a bedside table, and reading lamps, however, this space could also be utilised for further storage and easily adapted to provide a more luxurious single cabin or a walk-in wardrobe and dressing area.
HEADS - Separate heads compartment to starboard with electric Jabsco marine toilet (to 88L holding tank new 2019 with diverter valve), washbasin, shower with pump out, mirror, cupboards, and opening portlight.
SALOON AND GALLEY - Helm position to starboard offering excellent visibility ahead of a linear galley running aft equipped with a stainless steel 2-burner gas hob, microwave electric oven, 12v fridge, sink, and storage in cupboards and drawers. To port is a forward-facing navigator's bench seat ahead of a large U-shaped seating area with a table (which drops to create a double berth), and there is excellent natural light and ventilation provided by two large skylights, large opening side windows, and aft sliding doors to the cockpit.
COCKPIT - A fixed L-shaped seating area aft to port provides comfortable seating around a removable teak table, with excellent storage provided in lockers beneath and in the lazarette. Steps lead up to the generous side decks with stainless steel grabrails, providing safe access to and from the foredeck, and a walk-through transom door allows easy access to the large bathing platform.
GENERAL EQUIPMENT - During the last two years the upholstery and mattresses have been upgraded throughout, new carpets have been fitted, a second smaller removable saloon table added, and additional lighting fitted in the saloon and cockpit. Pressurised hot and cold water is supplied throughout via a calorifier with immersion coil. Webasto diesel fired warm air heating system. Sony Bluetooth stereo system. LCD TV.
Mechanical Systems
Located under the saloon sole in sound-insulated compartment, Volvo Penta D6-370 six cylinder 370hp turbo-charged diesel engine. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Single lever EVC electronic controls with electric start. Shaft drive to four-bladed propeller with protective skeg. 375L Poly Fuel tank. Full engine instrumentation including Volvo Penta EVC smart gauge. Lenco adjustable trim tabs. Bow and stern thrusters.
The engine is in excellent cosmetic condition, has been well maintained, was last serviced in March 2021, and the stern gland was replaced in October 2019. During the last two years the fuel tank has also been deep cleaned, and an additional separate filter and inspection hatch fitted. It has run for 745hrs since new equating to an ideal usage of approx 79hrs per season.
Electrical Systems
3 x 12v batteries (135ah domestic, 143ah engine, and 50ah bow thruster) charged via engine alternator. Shorepower system with ring mains, immersion coil for water heating and 25amp battery charger with Cristec electronic battery isolator. Electrical distribution panel. Battery isolator switches. Full cabin lighting with upgraded saloon and cockpit lighting.

Construction
Beneteau Antares 30S built-in 2012 by Beneteau to their own design. Planing white and dark blue GRP hull with spray chines and style stripes, superstructure, and decks with non-slip surfaces. Teak-laid aft cockpit with walk-through transom door to teak-laid bathing platform. Wheel steering to single rudder.
During the last two years new side screen covers have been fitted, the seacocks have been replaced, wiper motors serviced, freshwater system flushed and thoroughly cleaned, black hose and diverter valve fitted to holding tank and a 2019 survey is available on request.
