Teata is a Guillaume Verdier designed Tizh 40, built by BG Race in France in 2016. The name Tizh, meaning speed, represents an evolution of its predecessor, the Tyker 40. This later model Class 40 features a low centre of gravity, a stripped-out interior, and incorporates solutions from both the Mini Transat and IMOCA 60 classes. The power and overall ergonomics contribute to an efficiently aggressive boat.
With its sleek hull lines and voluminous bow, the Tizh 40 is built to tackle the oceans at high speed. The design is both powerful and light.
This Class 40 quickly established itself at the front end of the fleet, performing well in Mediterranean races as well as Atlantic races. In 2018, she achieved notable podium finishes with a 1st place in the ArMen Race and a 2nd place in the Grand Prix Guyader. More recently, she secured a 3rd place in the Corsica Med Cup 2022.
Standing the test of time, she races competitively with the best of the fleet and is ready to undertake any challenging sailing program with a new owner.
