DESCRIPTION

Beautiful nearly refurbished 2004 dutch barge style boat with large living area, kingsize forward cabin, shower and toilet room, fold up bunk beds cabin, kitchen and living room area.  Stunning wooden wheelhouse and lots of space to enjoy life on the water.

We also have the oppotunity for a mooring on the island in Thames Ditton.  Island living couldn't get any better.

This stunning fully refitted barge offers all year round living with spacious light living area.

With an option of a mooring in Thames Ditton, Surrey.  Solo mooring on an idyllic island on the non tidal river Thames.  Access by dingy only.  This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to live the dream.  This IS the best mooring on the entire river Thames.  Suitable for a quiet couple, looking to embrace river life and all it has to offer.  Be close to nature.
Thames Ditton has great connections by train, bus to London and surrounding areas.  You can even use the river to get around.  Going to work by boat is a highlight!
This will only be an option if the land owner is in agreement with the new boat owners.  A meeting will be set up before any purchase is made to make sure both parties are agreeable. Rent for mooring is extra (approx £800 per month)

From the newly built double-glazed wheelhouse which has the washer/dryer and extra freezer and a radiator. All covered with a stunning Sapele and meranti wood panelled bar area.  In the wheelhouse is the power assisted hatch to engine room.  Within the engine room there is plenty of storage as well as the engine of course.  Floor panelling in engine room and step down for easy access.
A few steps (which are also storage) lead down into the large open plan galley and living room area. The galley has custom built wooden working top, lots of cupboard storage, plus under floor storage. Sink with window looking out to the water.  Built in oven, 4 burner hob, tall fridge freezer.
In the living area is where the stove with back boiler is located.  The stove heats the underfloor heating, hot water and bathroom radiator/towel rail.  The heating can also be used with the Mikuni heating system.
Over the area is a large and solid roof hatching, giving the room lots of natural light (come with a cover).  There is plenty of room for a dining table, large sofa and armchair.
The beautifully curved green wall leads to the side corridor where the fold away bunk bed cabin is located. The bunks fold away giving you a spacious cabin for when it is not being used.  Ideal for storage or even a home office.  There is also a small wardrobe and shelving in this room.
The corridor then leads to the modern shower room.  Easy access walk in shower, a large ceramic sink and a toilet.  Under sink storage and more storage underneath the handcrafted thick wooden shelf.
Then at the front of the boat is the main cabin with lift up king size bed. Underneath is a huge amount of storage. The cabin also has a large wardrobe, multiple draws and even a fold out TV for bedtime viewing.
Plenty of plug sockets throughout. Some with USB plugs as well.
This boat was refitted for easy living, and everything was done with high efficiency in mind.
The main lights throughout are 12v for off grid living.
