The Swordsman 40 is widely regarded as one of the most graceful fast motor yachts of all time. Her modified Fairey Dagger hull, designed by Alan V. Burnard—legendary for crafting the iconic Fairey Marine boats—is incredibly robust, having originally been conceptualized as a fast offshore patrol boat. The hull was laid up by the Bridgend Boat Company of Newton Ferrers/Plymouth.
