The Broadblue 38 is the second generation of this exceptional design, which was originally the Prout 38. Taken over by Broadblue the mouldings, deck fittings and interior have been emphatically upgraded to produce a much higher quality finish all round. Berths for six in three double cabins with the option of more on the bridgedeck saloon. Two heads and three showers, one transom. A fully equipped galley and well equipped navigation suite complete this boat. Ready to long distance cruise/blue water and already in a very advantageous geographical position. This catamaran was built for the first owner who was also the designer of this model and an employee of Prout. It was fitted with every available option and was showed at the Southampton Boat Show before hand over. For the first 15 years it was meticulously and professionally maintained on the UK East coast. The current owners bought it in 2017 and sailed until 2021 when they equipped for long distance cruising and lived onboard sailing double-handed from Germany to Panama where it is moored in a marina. The Atlantic crossing 2021 was done in 18.5 days from the Canary Islands to Bequia in the Grenadines. This boat has not been chartered or used commercially.
