Le Montrachet provides an impressive amount of space with her 24’ beam, accommodating five staterooms plus crew. The Dining Room features high headroom, allowing for an elevated catwalk with open-air and refrigerated wine storage overlooking the dining table. Aft of the Skylounge is a spacious Upper Outdoor Deck, with stairs leading down to the Aft Deck and up to the Flybridge Upper Helm. Le Montrachet was repowered with modern Caterpillar C32 engines rated at 1,600 hp each.
Key FeaturesThe Salon in Le Montrachet is expansive, offering many seating areas in her current arrangement. Entering from the Aft Deck, a large console lies on centerline, housing two televisions, one facing seating to starboard and the other to port side seating. A beautiful staircase entry is forward of the TV console, leading down to the guest staterooms, and flanked by four-seat tables. A baby grand piano lies forward of the staircase entry, with sofas to port and starboard. A full-service bar surrounded by 5 stools is on the forward end of the Salon and the day head is accessible around the port side, across from a side deck door. Forward of the head door is storage, and a glass section showcases the back of a portion of the wine storage in the dining room. Around the starboard side of the bar is the starboard entry foyer from the side deck.
At the top of the stairs from the starboard side deck foyer is the Pilothouse. The main helm is centerline, with side deck doors to port and starboard. An observation bench is just aft, and the captain’s desk is to port.
Aft of the Pilothouse is a Skylounge with L-shaped seating to port and starboard. Cabinetry runs forward from the seating on both sides and a large console on centerline separates this area from the helm. The Upper Outdoor Deck is accessed through the door between seating areas.
This area is significantly larger than most on similarly sized yachts. A bar is forward to starboard. Aft of that on both sides are elevated tanning beds with adjustable backs. Aft of the starboard tanning bed is a huge, U-shaped seating area around a table, shaded by an umbrella. Aft and to port is the staircase down to the Aft Deck and the tender deck is behind that. Forward is access to the Skylounge and up to the Flybridge, which has seating and an upper helm.
Aft DeckBeneath the tender storage deck is the expansive Aft Deck, perfect for covered al fresco dining around the huge table. Swim deck access is easy and there is a BBQ grill on the port side.
Master StateroomDown a staircase from the starboard foyer is the entrance to the full-beam Owner’s Stateroom. The head of the king-sized bed is forward, with access to his and her heads accessed to port and starboard. A makeup table is built into the starboard side with drawers on each side and a closet aft. The port side has an upholstered seat built in with drawers on either side and another closet aft of that. Large portlights are above the cabinetry on both sides to offer natural light. Her head has a bathtub and his has a shower.
The four large Guest Staterooms are accessed from a foyer at the base of a beautiful staircase from the Salon and each have an en suite head with bathtub/shower. Two have queen-sized berths and two have large twins.
Port Forward Guest StateroomThe formal Dining Room is a stunning space, featuring soaring ceiling height above a table surrounded by 10 chairs. Above the level of side windows are forward windows in the brow of the boat. There is an enormous amount of storage in cabinets along the forward wall for crystal, China, and flatware. Along the aft side is an elevated area with 2 large, refrigerated wine cabinets and another section with open-air bottle storage. The back of those bottles are visible next to the entrance to the day head behind the bar.
GalleyThrough the door on the forward, starboard side of the Dining Room is the Galley. It is appropriately sized for service to the accommodations of this yacht.
Just aft of the Owner’s Stateroom is access to the Engine Room. Typical of Broward Yachts, there are portlights to port and starboard. Systems are easily accessible, and one can walk around the new Caterpillar C32 12-cylinder diesels. The 90kw generators are forward to starboard and one is centerline, between the mains. This space is bright white and well-lit, as it should be.
