Cosmetically neglected, this boat needs some freshening.

Vessel Overview

Vessel has sat idle for quite some time and recently been operationally brought back to life by a Charity who now owns the boat.

Vessel was built in Canada by C&C Yachts, a well respected builder of sailing boats. This was a performance trawler, when new. It is capable of higher speed if one wished. It does have a deep keel that protects the props if grounded.

It is a typical classic double cabin trawler with galley up, two staterooms with two heads and a centerline berth in the master.

Positive Aspects of the Boat:

  • This boat seems in good running condition and fully capable of normal operation as she lies.
  • Two recent low hour 240HP Yanmar Diesel engines in good running condition.
  • A recent model Yanmar powered 8 KW Mase Generator in good running condition.(1800 RPM).
  • Recent replacement of all fuel and water tanks with Aluminum Tanks which look very good.
  • Two Recent Cruisaire air conditioning systems that work very well.
  • Dripless shaft packings for propeller shafts (PSS).
  • Racor fuel Filters, and mostly new engine room hoses.
  • A Nice Fiberglass hardtop.
  • Autopilot and windlass.
  • Garmin 10 inch GPS Charting system.
  • Electric Heads.
  • Nice electrical panel.
  • Hull is painted a light blue with Awlgrip.
  • Might be sales tax exempt in Florida.
  • Molded FRP swim step with stainless 3 step swim ladder.

Negatives Observed:

  • Your wife will very likely not like this boat, (there is significant water damage to the vessels interior wood), but it is a great deal of boat for the money
  • Fully cored (Balsa) hull and decks. Cap rail is severely worn.
  • One trim tab is missing.
  • Substantial water damage to interior wood paneling. Cabin sole poor cosmetics.
  • Galley systems (Refrigeration, stove and microwave), are not functioning and needing replaced.
  • Generally overall, interior cosmetics are poor, bottom has some blisters.
  • Decks appear solid, but show surface cracking and some repairs.
  • The vessel needs a great deal of cosmetic work, there are some fiberglass repairs needed.

Cash offers are encouraged. There is no financing available. There is no warranty of the vessel or any systems. It is believed to be insurable as she sits, but not guaranteed.

Showings available to qualified serious prospects during weekdays.
