Inventory and Remarks
Bottom stripped and epoxied 2015. Deck and cockpit stripped and repainted with grey non-slip. Interior "gutted" and repainted 2015.
Yanmar YSE12 diesel engine, new exhaust elbow, engine hoses, filters, stern gland and cutless bearing 2015. Maxprop feathering propeller.
Alloy mast, boom and 2 spinnaker poles. Cap shrouds and forestay 2015. Chainplates removed and reinforced 2015. Spreaders refurbished 2015. Rod kicker, hydraulic backstay (plus spare). Dacron mainsail in good condition. Dacron genoa in very good condition (5 months use). Mylar taffeta #3 genoa in good condition. Reefing jib in average condition. Storm jib as new. 2 spinnakers in good condition 80 m2 and 100 m2.
Lewmar winches. Anchor with chain and warp. 2015 6 person liferaft and EPIRB. 2016 dinghy.
Navman log/speed, depth and GPS. VHF radio. 2 Raymarine ST4000+ autopilots, overhauled with new motor and seals.2015 Nasa AIS receiver. 130 a/h gel service battery, and lead acid engine battery, both 2015. VoltCraft intelligent charger 2015.
Racing version interior without head or side linings. Stripped back and nicely repainted 2015. Galley has 2 burner gas cooker, sink with hand pumped cold water, icebox and voluminous storage. Saloon has 2 single settee berths. The outer berths have been used for storage but could easily be restored. Marine wc with washbasin opposite and fwd cabin with comfortable double berth and stowage beneath. Electrical systems have been renewed and proper diagrams provided.
The first Nich 33 I sold was to US Yacht Broker and Kialoa navigator David (Fang) Kilponnen, because he, like me, loved these boats. Nothing has changed since then!
