Model ranges/Models of Carolina Skiff

With more than three decades of producing boats, Carolina Skiff has a huge repertoire of used and new models to choose from. In fact, so many of their models have proved popular that there’s usually a very wide selection of choices on the market. Choosing which model will suit you ultimately comes down to what you want to use it for. Carolina Skiff builds a wide range of boats, some of which are suited to families and day cruising, while others are primed for fishing. 

The current Carolina Skiff line-up includes four ranges; the E Series, the LS Series, the JLS Series, and the Ultra Elite Series. The E Series is designed for, in Carolina Skiff’s words, ‘family, fishing, and fun’, and the ranges’ versatility is what makes it popular. Ranging from 16 feet up to 24 feet in length there are center console models as well as tiller-steer models. The larger E21 and E24 models are primed for saltwater adventures, and have a range of extras added as standard. These include LED lighting, swim platforms, large consoles, cooler boxes, and windshields. 

The LS Series (17 to 25 feet) comprises five models. The focus here is on comfort, performance, and durability, as well as versatility. Some models, such as the meaty 25 LS, are focused on fishing, with features such as an 18-gallon livewell, storage boxes, fishing seat, and rod holders. But they also have a family-friendly swim platform with telescopic ladder and comfortable seating. 

The JLS Series—which comprises the 162 JLS, 178 JLS, and the 192 JLS—is another versatile range which is designed for bay fishing and family cruising. Features include a modified V hull for a smoother ride, plush seating, molded-in storage compartments, an 18-gallon livewell, and a swim ladder. They are rated for up to 140 horsepower. 

The fourth range of current Carolina Skiffs is the Ultra Elite Series which, as the name implies, is this builder’s premium offering. Designed for days on the river, lake, tidal creek, or bay, the six models in the range (19 to 26 feet) promise adventure, fishing, cruising, and swimming. The 26 Ultra Elite is the largest boat Carolina Skiff builds, and it can accommodate up to an impressive 18 passengers. This center console model has features such as a T-top, Porta Potti, and lots of fishing accessories.
