Please do not compare NEREUS to any of the tired, refit needed, aluminium masted, low specifications 58s on the market. She is TURN KEY. Newer sails, recent engines, standing rigging, etc, etc. Put some food in her refrigerator and sail the seven seas - in 24 hours of prep!

NEREUS was first launched in 2002 for a family in San Francisco, sailed in the Med and Caribbean for three seasons, and was then sold by us to another California owner. Her next owners stepped in a few years ago to enjoy sailing her in the Med. They installed two brand new Yanmar engines, a new generator, in 2009 all new North 3DL sails, upgraded electronics, systems, you name it. She sailed in the ARC 2014, wintered in the Caribbean and made her way to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She has been totally gone over and is in top mechanical order, with all the kit required to sail anywhere in the world, including heat, air con, Sat COM, watermaker, solar...just see her extensive inventory and you will understand. Her current owner took over in Florida and has put 12K miles on her in the last 18 months, 8K miles of which he has completed single-handed. What a testament to her condition and ease of handling. He has traveled to Belgium via the Acores, Norway, and twice to Portugal.
NEREUS is a four cabin version, with ensuite heads, and was done in the light maple version interior. Her overall interior condition is very good and her exterior condition is excellent. She's a very impressive yacht, with fast sails, recent engines and gen. If you are the sort of buyer who has no appetite for any sort of refit project, who wants to own a truly turn-key Catana 58, NEREUS is a must see.
