Century boats - the American boatbuilding company, is famous for its reliability, fishability, and luxury. The first Century boat company was founded in the year 1926 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and later in 1928, the company moved to Manistee, Michigan where it stayed for more than 6 decades and grew into a powerful nationwide supplier. Century was granted a government contract by the United States to manufacture 3,600 boats for use during World War II and the "Thoroughbred of Boats” slogan was created. Later, Century Hurricane held the world's outboard speed record of 50.93 miles per hour, the Century Coronado boats were used in two Hollywood films and then Century Boats grew to 343 authorized dealers nationwide.

Century was taken over by Yamaha in the year 1995 and then sold by Yamaha to Allcraft Marine of Florida in the year 2012.
