SummaryThis distinguished 1972 Chris-Craft 25 Express Cruiser is an ideal vessel for adventuring on the open water. Twin FNM 110hp turbo diesel engines make it a powerful and economical cruiser, whilst the spacious interior and generous open plan saloon provide comfortable accommodation for relaxing trips away. Equipped with diesel heating, electric windlass, Garmin 160 Blue fishfinder/depth sounder, VHF radio and plenty of outdoor seating, this boat is sure to provide an unforgettable experience.
The Chris-Craft 25 Express Cruiser is a charming classic motor cruiser from the legendary Chris-Craft design team. 'Christabell' is a sought-after twin shaft driven version upgraded in 2014 to twin FNM 110hp turbo diesel engines making her a very capable and economic cruiser for her size! Ideal for general cruising or relaxed fishing trips, she could also work well as a support boat for other watersports thanks to the large easily accessed aft cockpit. She is presented in good condition for her year and has a good inventory including an electric windlass and diesel heating. Although she would now benefit from some cosmetic tidying she represents fantastic value, and must be one of the most versatile diesel-powered boats available in her class!
Viewing by appointment only through our Essex office.
Accommodation
The open plan saloon has a vee berth forward with an infill to create a double berth, and a dinette to starboard which can also convert to offer a further small double. Aft to port is a generous linear galley equipped with a four-burner gas hob, sink, fridge, and storage. To starboard is a separate heads compartment which has a marine toilet and wash basin. Teak interior woodwork with substantial mouldings and blue upholstery combine to create a comfortable interior ideal for a couple looking for long weekends away in comfort. Moving aft to the cockpit, comfortable helm and navigators swivelling chairs are complimented by the large, practical cockpit fitted with an aft bench seat and good access to the side decks and bathing platform.
Mechanical Systems
Located beneath the cockpit sole, twin FNM HPE 110 4 cylinder 110hp turbo diesel engines (both new 2014). Twin single lever controls with electric start. Wheel steering to twin rudders. Stainless steel 150L fuel tank. Shaft drives to 3- bladed bronze propellers.
