Classic wooden gaff cutter with extending bow sprit, presented in very good condition, built by renowned builder Tom Dudley of Mevagissey very good sea keeping qualities, viewing highly recommended. A 2013 survey report is available on request.

The accommodation offers 4 berths in two cabins, forward cabin laid out as a vee berth, the marine heads located between the vee, with an access hatch to the foredeck. The saloon offers single berths to port and starboard, galley to starboard aft equipped with a stainless-steel sink, manually pumped fresh water, two hob cooker with grill and oven and plenty of storage space, to port cupboard and drawers with worktop. Upholstery finished in red.

History and Construction

Built in 1985 by Tom Dudley designed by Gary Mitchell we believe. Carval built using Iroko, painted white, synthetic laid decks, varnished gunnels. Traditional long keel with transom hung rudder, tiller steering. Owned by the current owner for the last 10 years with 2 previous owners, selling due to health.

Fully rigged as a gaff cutter with an extendable jointed bow sprit, deck stepped pine mast, pine boom and pine gaff on a tabernacle, slab reefing, hanks on foresail and staysail. Stainless steel standing rigging with manual backstay adjuster.

Mechanical Systems

Powered by a single 1985 Yanmar 3GM three-cylinder 27hp diesel engine (last serviced by the owner 2022), shaft drive to a two bladed bronze propellor. Last out of water maintenance 2022.
