Construction

Hull and deck structure moulded to designer's specification in Lloyds' approved facility with all laminating carried out by hand to a high standard.

Hull and deck moulding are produced using a Lloyd's approved gelcoat and laminating resin. They are bonded together around the perimeter and across the structural bulkhead to create substantial strength. End wood balsa core topsides above the water line provide additional stiffness, and thermal insulation. The balwarks are resin filled.

The hull and topsides are finished with three Navy blue cove lines. Tee area below water is treated using gelcoat primer and finished with Coppercoat antifouling.

The keel is a two part lead casting fully encapsulated and over laminated with the hull.

The rudder is moulded in GRP with a one piece 56mm diameter stainless steel stock. A bronze skeg is fitted at the heel of the rudder with nylon bush.

The cockpit is self-draining through two custom made stainless steel drains. Teak cockpit seat and sole.

All decks and coach roof are teak laid, teak toe rail.
