Boat Overview

Accommodation

The accommodation offers up to 7 berth in a pleasantly fitted out interior, with high quality teak joinery. There is plenty of natural light and ventilation, with standing headroom throughout. Up forward, there is a double V berth with an infill and good stowage underneath. Deck opening hatch. Moving aft into the saloon, there is a dinette to starboard with a single settee berth opposite. Fixed table with drop leaves. Deck opening hatch. The aft facing chart table is to port with the electrical distribution panel and navigation equipment. Separate heads compartment aft with a marine toilet, shower, and washbasin. Opposite to starboard, there is the L shaped galley featuring a gimballed gas cooker with grill and oven, refrigerator (seawater cooled), stainless steel sink with a pressurized cold-water supply, and an extractor fan. Coming aft from the galley, there is the walk through to the aft cabin with good access to the engine compartment and a large hanging locker opposite. The aft cabin offers a double berth to port and a single berth opposite, along with a washbasin and deck opening hatch. Eberspacher cabin heating (serviced 2020). Blue upholstery throughout (new 2019). Headlining's and hull linings replaced 2019/20.

Mechanical Systems

Located under the cockpit in an insulated compartment is the Yanmar 3JH4E marine diesel engine fitted new in 2005. It features three cylinders, 39hp, freshwater cooled via a heat exchanger. Electric start with single lever controls. Shaft drive to a three bladed propeller. 35kgf bowthruster. Engine is professionally serviced and winterised annually. 220 litre fuel tank. Rope cutter. Automatic engine room fire extinguisher (2023).

Construction

Built in 1979 by Conyplex to a design by Dick Zaal and first commissioned in 1980. White GRP hull with style stripes. Teak rubbing strake. Teak toe rail. White GRP superstructure with painted and moulded non-slip decks. Long fin feel with an encapsulated ballast. Skeg hung rudder. Wheel steering. Self-draining centre cockpit. Last surveyed in 2018.
