Boat Overview

The Crabber 22 is a strongly built boat featuring a clean and simple interior that is light and airy, accommodating up to four persons. It has a traditional gaff rig with a gaff mainsail, foresail, and staysail, making it a delight to sail. The inboard diesel engine simplifies navigation when the wind drops. "Slipaway" has been lightly used in recent years. Viewing is by appointment only at our Suffolk office (IP10 0LN).

Accommodation

The accommodation offers up to four full-length berths in two cabins, featuring cream internal mouldings and cream bulkheads for a light and airy interior. The forepeak consists of a twin V berth with infill, wood slats to hull lining, and an opening hatch to the deck. A Jabsco marine toilet is located under the central section of the berth, along with other stowage lockers beneath the berth. There is a curtain between the saloon and forward cabin.

The saloon has settee berths on either side of a fixed central table with folding leaves. The galley area is forward and to starboard in the saloon, equipped with a Plastimo 2500 two-burner gas cooker with grill and a stainless steel sink (cold water supply), all under hinging lids. The upholstery throughout is blue. The boat features a 12v distribution panel with circuit breakers, fuel gauge, and electric bilge pump control, along with 12v lighting.
