Owners Comments

‘We have loved owning Second Light since 2013 and we have had many fantastic family adventures aboard.  We bought her when our girls were aged 6 and 7 and have cruised her over many seasons – primarily in the Solent, but with a number of trips to the West Country and a couple of times over to The Channel Islands and France.  She is a lovely boat to sail – fast and capable in light breezes due to her large rig, yet she has the stable temperament of a much larger yacht in higher breezes due to her fin keel and heavy ballast ratio.  She has been thoroughly loved and maintained over our ownership and never raced.  We are very sad to see her go – but now the girls are teenagers we find ourselves with limited time to sail her.   We hope she finds a new owner who can enjoy her just as much as our family has over the last 10 years.’
