These boats are tough, capable and good load carriers, as well as being fast under sail and oar.

This boat is constructed from glued marine plywood which makes her strong and light as well as being easy to maintain. The boat is also easy to launch and recover single handed which makes using her a hassle free affair. Can be sail single handed without a problem but also has space for 3 adults.

Construction

Epoxy glued marine plywood hull with solid douglas fir gunwhales.

Hardwood keel, stern post and stem.

Built in fore and aft buoyancy tanks using marine plywood with screw in inspection hatches.

Marine plywood centreboard case with a marine plywood centreboard, raised and lowered by hand.

Varnished douglas fir thwarts with iroko supporting knees.

Scrubbed pine slatted sole boards.

Stern hung drop plate rudder made from marine plywood.

Standing lug rig on an unstayed varnished pine mast.

Varnished pine lug yard with loose footed mainsail for easy handling.

Tan terylene sail with 2 reefing points.

Mainsheet to a metal horse across the stern.
