The commissioning owner put together a team of skilled shipwrights who built the boat at a specially made facility at the owners factory. Launched in 1970, she was built to Lloyds 100A1 classification and Won Lloyds Trophy Yacht of the Year in 1970. The original owners cruised to the Mediterranean where she was sold and worked as a luxury charter yacht for a time. Bought by the current owner in 2007, a professional yacht surveyor who has spent years improving and refitting the boat to a high standard, using her as a live aboard and a cruising home. Every system including the electrics, machinery, plumbing, heating and rig have been overhauled, repaired or replaced and she is now in extremely smart and sound condition. In 2019 she underwent a 3000Nm cruise to the Baltic and back where even in very poor weather conditions she proved to be a safe, reassuring and comfortable yacht. Fitted with a clever electrical system, she can be fully operational for 4 days at a time without running the engine or charging in any way. 2 large sleeping cabins, 7 berths in total with 2 heads compartments and 6'5" headroom, she is a very elegant and special yacht capable of comfortable live aboard or extended cruising. Brand new sails in 2019 and rigging in 2016. A superb example of this highly sought after design, she is one of the few boats that is in genuine 'turn key' condition with a well documented history of refit and repair work.
