She has been in the present ownership since 1996 and used for sailing around the West Country and English channel, frequently single handed proving how easy she is to sail. She had a new Volvo 55hp diesel fitted in 2006 which has been well maintained and cared for. A fantastic live aboard cruising yacht with plenty of space at a sensible price. Underwater hull sheathed in Cascover from new. External iron ballast keel with steel keel bolts. Galvanised steel strap floors across the centreline with ferrous bolts. Marine plywood deck, GRP sheathed externally and finished in non slip deck paint. Step in the deck with a raised aft deck to increase volume in aft cabin.. Machinery Volvo Penta D2 55-C 4cyl 55hp diesel installed new in 2006. AquaDrive coupling and stainless shaft to a centreline 3 blade feathering Kiwiprop propeller gives 5.5 knots cruising speed, 7.5 knots max. Fuel consumption of 2 litres/hour. Painted steel fuel tanks outboard of the engine. 3 x 12 volt batteries for engine starting and domestics. Charged from engine alternator or battery charger through 240 volt shore power system. Accommodation 7 berths in total, double in the aft cabin, 2 saloon settee berths and a pilot berth plus 2 single berths in forward cabin. Starboard side entrance to the aft cabin from the cockpit. Large double berth to port. Starboard side set up for storage plus a large 12 volt cool box/fridge. Cockpit is totally enclosed when canvas back is set up giving a sheltered and dry space. Forward cabin has 2 V-berths. Good headroom with forehatch over. Storage space below the berths. Chain locker right in the bows.
