DESCRIPTION

Custom built in Sydney, Australia using ply, foam and epoxy sealed by a reputable shipbuilder, Big Bandicoot was initially built to beat the World Speed record. Unfortunately she only made it to 32 knots, a couple of knots below the record at the time. She was then purchased and converted into a cruising catamaran.

The third and current owner then refit her (Sails, Rigging, engines) and sailed from Malaysia to the Caribbean via Turkey.

Unfortunately she only made it to 32 knots, a couple of knots below the record at the time. She was then purchased and converted into a cruising catamaran.

The third and current owner then refit her (Sails, Rigging, engines) and sailed from Malaysia to the Caribbean via Turkey. She was extended from 17M to 18.3M, sits in the Caribbean and is purring to sail again with a new owner. The vessel does need some work and this is reflected in the low asking price. The seller is including new Kiwi props, new water maker and a collection of spares with the vessel.
