Bought by the present owners in 1969 and since the early 1980’s has been garaged most of the time and used for summer holiday sailing Recently the owner has re-painted and varnished the hull so that she is looking in smart cosmetic condition. A great fun dinghy that will provide exciting sailing, and although she will not be competitive in the modern fleet a new owner could still happily race her in club events. Length 14’ Beam 4’9” Construction Hard chine hull built of plywood with a solid mahogany transom. Varnished plywood decks with mahogany rubbing strake. Wooden centreboard in a plywood centreboard case, raised and lowered by hand Built in buoyancy tanks either side and at the stern Self bailers in the cockpit with new rubber seals. Rig Fractional Bermudan sloop rig on a deck stepped Proctor alloy mast. Alloy boom new in 2006 from P&B riggers. Stainless steel standing rigging new in 2010. 2 sets of sails including an older main and headsail from Jeckells and a 2006 main and headsail from Banks. Spinnaker and spinnaker pole. Complete set of running rigging.
