This Stimson 42 IRC Racing Yacht was built in 2008 to a Christian Stimson Design as a development of the popular Reflex 38 by the Pronavia Boat Yard in Sweden.

The boat has its own cradle.
This boat was originally purchased in 2014 when it was the subject of a full survey.
This boat has generally performed well with some podium positions and has largely finished in the mid to upper half of the fleet. Throughout the owner's ownership he has always employed a professional skipper and the boat has been crewed by amateur sailors not a dedicated crew or people focused specifically on racing.
The best results have been 1st Round the Island and 2nd in the Series for the 2017 Barbados week.
4th in Class RORC Round Ireland Race in 2016 and 6th in Class in the Caribbean 660 in 2015.
The last major maintenance works were carried out in June 2017 in readiness for the Fastnet Race and the boat has been chocked ashore since August 2017.
IRC Information:-
IRC Certificate - There are various certificates for different sail plans. The boat has the capability for both asymmetric with a 1 mtr prodder) and Symmetric (approx. 5 mtr pole) kites which can be set up depending on the conditions of the race.
In this year's RORC Campaign / Fastnet the boats rating was 1.114 using the race main and asymmetric kites.
The owner has removed all the soft furnishings, sails, life rafts and life jackets which are in dry storage in Kent.
